Terms of use for Chatterift
Development-stage terms · Last updated 31 October 2026
1. Service and availability
Chatterift is a Windows desktop application in development for viewing and interacting with Twitch and YouTube livestream chat and presenting chat through a local OBS overlay. Features may change, and operation depends on internet access, relevant livestreams and third-party platform availability and API quotas. A public download is not yet available.
2. Third-party services
Chatterift is an independent tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch, Google/YouTube or OBS Studio. Your use of connected platforms remains governed by their applicable policies and terms. By using Chatterift's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
3. Account permissions and user actions
You control which account to connect and where to send chat messages. You are responsible for messages you submit and for ensuring your use complies with platform rules. Turning YouTube OFF stops its connection while retaining its saved authorisation; you can separately remove local credentials or revoke access in Google Account settings.
4. Privacy and contacts
Our privacy policy explains the data processed in this development build. Contact support@chatterift.com for help or privacy@chatterift.com for privacy enquiries.
5. Status of these terms
These terms describe the current development-stage website and application. The software licence, developer/operator identity and any applicable additional terms must be confirmed before public distribution.
